Michelangelo Hotel Milan is a little removed from the tourist attractions. However, it is within walking distance of the Milan Central Train Station (right across the street), making it easy to transport luggage. Hop on Hop off bus stop is located adjacent to the hotel. Also, the metro station is just a short stroll away. Which makes it easy for you to explore Milan and all of its surrounding areas. Milan Cathedral and Church of Santa Maria dell Grazie are within a 20 minute ride from the hotel. The area around the hotel is quite nice. There are some lovely shops, and restaurants if you want to dine out. There are numerous restaurants as you walk out of the hotel to your left. However, if you go right and walk a couple of blocks, you will you see so many more restaurants where the locals eat.
Michelangelo Hotel Milan spans over 17 floors and has 306 rooms. Including singles, doubles, triples and luxurious suites to choose from. Rooms are a large, for European hotels and very clean. Plenty of amenities like a safe, an iron with ironing board. Electric curtains, so there is really no need to step out of the bed. Bathrooms offer hair dryers and bathrobes. And even a jacuzzi bathtub, which is super clean. Mini bar has complimentary water and orange juice, replaced daily, which is a nice touch after a long day of sightseeing. Free WiFi access in hotel rooms is very fast. Please note, the you have to turn on your TV to get Wi-Fi. Rooms on the higher floors have terrific views across the city and the surrounding mountains. It also has less street noise when you have your window open.
Michelangelo Hotel Milan has 24 hour reception, which is wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff with excellent English.
Il David Bar & Restaurant is located inside the hotel, and offers a wide selection of the finest foods made from the freshest local ingredients available. Very reasonable price for this type of hotel.
Buffet breakfast has a great selection and range of options available. Coffee is strong. They also provide oranges and a machine, so you can make your own fresh orange juice.
Michelangelo Hotel Milan has a business center, with meeting/conference rooms available.
