Ristorante Lo Zodiaco Capri
Most restaurants in Capri offer satisfying dining while overlooking famous attractions like the Faraglioni Rocks Capri. Ristorante Lo Zodiaco Capri is situated in the center of Marina Grande Capri. It is so close to the sea that you could smell the sweet scent of the sea and clearly hear sound of the lapping waves.
Ristorante Lo Zodiaco Capri is family owned. Ciro, Dizziana and Roberta have created an excellent dining experience. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Service and knowledge of food is extraordinary. Customers are a mixture of tourists and locals. When you see a lot of locals dining at a restaurant, they must be doing a lot of things just right.
Every morning local fishermen catch and deliver fresh fish straight to the kitchen. Everything is fresh and beautifully prepared. Served on beautifully crafted enormous plates. They offer delicious home made pasta with sea food. Seafood risotto is excellent. Local fish baked in salt is also delicious. Tuna tartar is sublime, and the fresh octopus is a delight. If love pizza, they you must try the brick oven crust. It is just incredible. How about Mediterranean Sushi and a classic seafood soup with crunchy toasted bread for breakfast?
The local house wine is terrific, not expensive. It is served in pottery jugs, keeping it very cool. An assortment of deserts that you have to taste. Make sure to try the house specialitiy, the chocolate bombs. Rich and filling. They are unbelievable! And, what is the best way to end a superb meal? Have a glass of their special beverage, the ‘Origin of Life’ liquor. It is an absolute must-try.
Ristorante Lo Zodiaco Capri is spacious. It has a lot of tables both inside and outside. If you choose to come late afternoon, I recommend that you sit at one of the tables on the quay of the port to witness the sunset.
Tip: If you want a table by the water, please remember to book early.
