For all those who enter the Time Elevator, they will be taken back in to Roman history when Romulus and Remus founded the city! You will learn about the Roman Empire’s victories, defeats and battles; the rise and fall of the Roman Empire! The Time Elevator Experience Rome will take you further into the late Middle Age, Renaissance and Fascist time period; right down the line until this very day. Meet the notorious artist Michelangelo and the Popes! You’ll be able to take a peek at the major historical Roman monuments. A fun way to learn and combine education with play! The movie “History of Rome” last about 45 minutes. They offer other movies like “The evolution of Life” in 5 D with dinosaurs which is interesting for children or the “House of Terror” in 5D which is NOT for kids! You can even choose a combo of 2 tickets and get a discount. Another Combo ticket is called “Time Elevator Ticket” plus the “Colosseum Ticket – Skip the line” which means you also get a ticket for the Colosseum and don’t have to stand on line!

How to get there:
Time Elevator Experience Rome is just 200 meters away from Piazza Venezia. Go down Via del Corso from Piazza Venezia and turn right at the second street. You’ll hit Via SS. Apostoli.
Metro: My recommended stop is Spagna – Line A – then go down Via del Corso towards Piazza Venezia, Via SS. Apostoli will be to your left!
Bus: My recommended stop is Piazza Venezia – Via del Corso
The tickets cost Euro 12.00 for adults and Euro 9.00 for kids for one movie.
The “Time Elevator Ticket” plus the “Colosseum Ticket – Skip the line” costs Euro 25.00!
Note: Children under 5 are not admitted. If you suffer from motion sickness don’t put yourself on the moving chairs but sit on the normal one’s they have which are not many!

Opening hours:
Time Elevator Experience is open every day from 10.00AM to 7.30PM. The tours are scheduled every hour. 50 people at a time can be let in and experience a modern technological structure which is over 1000 square meters big. Tridimensional eyeglasses from the latest generation will be handed out to you, depending on the movie you pick. . A Multilanguage trip in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Russian awaits you!
